The Inkfish team got together this Saturday for our belated Christmas Party. As always we did it in style and headed off to Falmouth, the perfect location with salon number 3 soon opening just there. After amazing cocktails, lovely meal & lots of wine we set off to have a tour around the 4 storey Inkfish Falmouth salon. On the very top floor we hosted our first ever iNkfish Awards ceremony!!! This is now going to be an annual event to showcase the team hard work and dedication throughout the year.

Hairdresser of the Year 2014 – Tori Prescott
Tori has been with inkfish from the very start of her career, as an Apprentice. Now as an Artistic Director she has transformed into an inspiring stylist with an incredible amount of passion for hairdressing. She is part of our Art Team where she adds her skills and unique style to our salon photo shoots along with wedding shoots and has even entered into National Awards that expand throughout the country. Tori was part of the Inspirational Youth Team with Tigi in 2011 and gained a lot of confidence and creativity in doing this. She loves to teach the new Apprentices coming through the ranks and has been on Tigi Academy Training courses to gain this experience, this is something Tori is keen to take further into her career. This award is fully deserved for her client care, dedication and ambition. Tori has helped the salon have a wonderful successful year and we are very proud of her. Well done Tori 🙂
Apprentice of the Year 2014 – Michael Spenceley
Mike is a great member of the team and will be an amazing hairdresser. He’s always there to help out and loves watching the qualified stylists at work. He is keen to learn and has a great relationship with our clients. Mike is dedicated and passionate about hairdressing the key to being great. Keep up the good work Mike!
Outstanding Customer Care Award 2014 – Sarah Sinfield
Sarah is amazing with her clients, she goes out of her way to make them feel extra special while here in the salon. Every client is greeted with that amazing smile and friendly feel that she brings to the team. She has an ever growing clientele and no wonder we hear so many wonderful experiences from them. Brilliant job xx
Young Talent of the Year 2014 – Kate Uren
Kate has shown great potential in becoming an amazing stylist. She is keen to learn, develop & take on board what it takes to be a great hairdresser. I think we need to watch this space for when Kate takes her talent to the next level. These talented apprentices are our stylists of the future!
Prebook Award 2014 – Kat Kempthorne
Kat has been with the salon for many years and is a key stylist in making inkfish such a success. This success comes from giving our clients the ultimate experience in hair care, you get this from using the right products advised by your stylist and keeping your hair in great condition by regular visits to the salon. Our prebook award is for the stylist who has the most clients already booked in advance into our busy appointment diary. Kat has done this without effort to all her loyal clients who come in regularly to be pampered from head to toe and experience that true salon speciality.
